Article ANNEXE, art. 2 of the French Code of civil procedure

The provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure do not apply to the following matters:

– guardianship, legal administrations and curatorships under local law;

– judicial division and judicial sale of real estate, certificates of heirs, seals;

– register of associations, matrimonial registers, and registers of cooperative associations under local law;

– land register,

only subject to the rules established, for each of these matters, by the law of 1st June 1924 bringing into force French civil legislation in the departments of Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin and Moselle or maintained in force by that law and the supplementary texts enacted since that date, as well as the provisions below.

Les dispositions du code de procédure civile ne sont applicables aux matières suivantes :

– tutelle, administrations légales et curatelles de droit local ;

– partage judiciaire et vente judiciaire d’immeubles, certificats d’héritiers, scellés ;

– registre des associations, registres matrimoniaux, et registres des associations coopératives de droit local ;

– livre foncier,

que sous réserve des règles établies, pour chacune de ces matières, par la loi du 1er juin 1924 mettant en vigueur la législation civile française dans les départements du Bas-Rhin, du Haut-Rhin et de la Moselle ou maintenues en vigueur par cette loi et les textes complémentaires intervenus depuis cette date, ainsi que des dispositions ci-après.
