Article ANNEXE, art. 31 of the French Code of civil procedure

In the judicial court, the legal claim is brought in accordance with the provisions of the code of civil procedure. Where the procedure is in writing, the claim may also be brought by delivery to the court registry of an originating document in duplicate signed by the claimant’s lawyer and containing all the particulars referred to in articles 56 with the exception of its second and sixth paragraphs and 752 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

In this case, the procedure shall be in accordance with the following articles.

Devant le tribunal judiciaire, la demande en justice est formée selon les dispositions du code de procédure civile. Lorsque la procédure est écrite, la demande en justice peut également être formée par la remise au greffe d’un acte introductif d’instance en double exemplaire signé par l’avocat du demandeur et comportant l’ensemble des mentions visées aux articles 56 à l’exception de ses deuxième et sixième alinéas et 752 du code de procédure civile.

Dans ce cas, il est procédé conformément aux articles suivants.
