Article D1142-67 of the French Public Health Code

The Medical Risks Observatory may only deliberate if at least half of its members in office, including the Chairman or, in his absence, the Vice-Chairman, are present.

Decisions are taken by a majority of the members present. In the event of a tie, the Chairman or, in his absence, the Vice-Chairman, shall have the casting vote.

The Medical Risks Observatory may hear any qualified person.

L’Observatoire des risques médicaux ne peut délibérer que si au moins la moitié de ses membres en exercice, dont le président ou, en son absence, le vice-président, sont présents.


Les délibérations sont prises à la majorité des membres présents. En cas de partage égal des voix, celle du président ou, en son absence, du vice-président, est prépondérante.


L’Observatoire des risques médicaux a la faculté d’entendre toute personne qualifiée.
