Article D1221-65 of the French Public Health Code

When the import concerns plasma pastes or labile blood products intended for the preparation of health products, the authorisation referred to in Article D. 1221-58 is issued to the following organisations or establishments:

1° The Etablissement français du sang ;

2° The Armed Forces Blood Transfusion Centre;

3° Pharmaceutical establishments authorised in accordance with the provisions of article L. 5124-3 and manufacturing medicinal products;

4° Manufacturers of other health products incorporating products covered by this sub-section or coming into contact with these products;

5° Any other company or organisation importing labile blood products or plasma pastes intended for the establishments or manufacturers mentioned in 3 and 4.

Article D1221-65

Lorsque l’importation porte sur des pâtes plasmatiques ou des produits sanguins labiles destinés à la préparation de produits de santé, l’autorisation mentionnée à l’article D. 1221-58 est délivrée aux organismes ou établissements suivants :

1° L’Etablissement français du sang ;

2° Le centre de transfusion sanguine des armées ;

3° Les établissements pharmaceutiques autorisés conformément aux dispositions de l’article L. 5124-3 et fabricant des médicaments ;

4° Les fabricants d’autres produits de santé incorporant des produits relevant de la présente sous-section ou entrant en contact avec ces produits ;

5° Toute autre entreprise ou tout autre organisme important des produits sanguins labiles ou des pâtes plasmatiques destinés à des établissements ou des fabricants mentionnés aux 3 et 4.
