I.-The provisions of this section apply to public and private swimming pools for collective use referred to in article L. 1332-1 and to paid-access swimming pools referred to in article L. 322-7 of the French Sports Code. An order of the Minister for Health defines the notion of collective use of these facilities.
They do not apply, with the exception of the provisions relating to the disinfection treatments mentioned in article D. 1332-3, to thermal pools supplied with natural mineral water used exclusively for therapeutic purposes in the thermal establishments mentioned in article R. 1322-52.
II – The swimming pools mentioned in I consist of installations or parts of installations comprising one or more watertight artificial pools in which aquatic activities are regularly practised and whose water is filtered, disinfected, renewed and recycled. The equipment and fittings required to receive the public, to carry out the activities and to operate the pools are part of the facilities that make up a swimming pool.
