Article D1413-94 of the French Public Health Code

The Committee shall be completely independent in the performance of its duties.

The Committee’s work shall be carried out in conjunction with existing research and innovation structures, as well as with the agencies and authorities responsible for health, medicine and the environment. It contributes to the production of the expertise required to manage the health risks referred to in the last paragraph of article R. 1411-55.

To carry out its tasks, it has access to the risk assessment referred to in the penultimate paragraph of L. 1313-1.

Its meetings may be held in electronic form.

Le comité exerce ses missions en toute indépendance.

Les travaux du comité sont menés en lien avec les structures de recherche et d’innovation existantes, ainsi qu’avec les agences et autorités compétentes en matière sanitaire, médicale, environnementale. Il contribue à la production de l’expertise nécessaire à la gestion des risques sanitaires mentionnée au dernier alinéa de l’article R. 1411-55.

Pour l’exercice de ses missions, il a accès à l’évaluation des risques mentionnée à l’antépénultième alinéa de L. 1313-1.

Ses réunions peuvent se tenir sous forme dématérialisée.
