Article D1511-54 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The annual amount of the study and professional project allowance, provided for in II of article L. 1511-8 of this code, allocated by the local authorities, alone or jointly, may not exceed the annual emoluments for the third year of boarding provided for in 1° of Article 10 of décret n° 99-930 du 10 novembre 1999.

The total amount of the allowance paid to the student during his or her postgraduate studies may not exceed the product of the annual amount mentioned in the previous paragraph and the number of years of postgraduate studies completed by the student as from the conclusion of the contract mentioned in article D. 1511-55, not taking into account years of repetition.

Le montant annuel de l’indemnité d’étude et de projet professionnel, prévue au II de l’article L. 1511-8 du présent code, attribuée par les collectivités territoriales, seules ou conjointement, ne peut excéder les émoluments annuels de troisième année d’internat prévus au 1° de l’article 10 du décret n° 99-930 du 10 novembre 1999.

Le montant total de l’indemnité versée à l’étudiant durant ses études de troisième cycle ne peut excéder le produit du montant annuel mentionné à l’alinéa précédent et du nombre d’années d’études de troisième cycle effectuées par l’étudiant à compter de la conclusion du contrat mentionné à l’article D. 1511-55, compte non tenu des années de redoublement.
