Article D1511-61 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The annual amount of the study and professional project allowance, provided for in II of article L. 1511-9 of this code, awarded to students regularly enrolled in studies leading to the award of a veterinary diploma or qualification mentioned in 1° of article L. 241-2 of the rural and maritime fishing code, by local authorities or their groupings, alone or jointly, may not exceed the amount of the gross annual salary of the first step (non-executive student) of the national collective agreement for salaried veterinary practitioners, plus the possibility of covering tuition fees or registration fees paid each year by the student to the training organisation preparing for the diploma.

Le montant annuel de l’indemnité d’étude et de projet professionnel, prévue au II de l’article L. 1511-9 du présent code, attribuée aux étudiants régulièrement inscrits dans des études conduisant à la délivrance d’un diplôme ou d’un titre de formation vétérinaire mentionné au 1° de l’article L. 241-2 du code rural et de la pêche maritime, par les collectivités territoriales ou leurs groupements, seuls ou conjointement, ne peut excéder le montant du salaire brut annuel du premier échelon (élève non cadre) de la convention collective nationale des vétérinaires praticiens salariés, auxquels s’ajoutent la possibilité de prise en charge des droits de scolarité ou des frais d’inscription acquittés chaque année par l’étudiant auprès de l’organisme de formation qui prépare au diplôme.
