Article D1871-2 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I. – Article R. 1611-33 is applicable in French Polynesia, subject to the adaptations provided for in II.

II. – 1° For the application of I, the words: “the territorial authorities, their groupings and the departmental fire and rescue services” are replaced by the words: “the communes of French Polynesia, their groupings and their public establishments”;

2° For the application of the same I, 4° is deleted and 2° and 3° are replaced by the following provisions:

“2° The index of the general level of consumer prices established by the Institute of Statistics of French Polynesia”;

“3° The interest rate of the passbook savings accounts defined in article L. 221-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code. “

II. – 1° Pour l’application du I, les mots : ” les collectivités territoriales, leurs groupements et les services départementaux d’incendie et de secours ” sont remplacés par les mots : ” les communes de Polynésie française, leurs groupements et leurs établissements publics ” ;

2° Pour l’application du même I, le 4° est supprimé et les 2° et 3° sont remplacés par les dispositions suivantes :

” 2° L’indice du niveau général des prix à la consommation établi par l’Institut de la statistique de Polynésie française ” ;

” 3° Le taux d’intérêt des livrets d’épargne définis à l’article L. 221-1 du code monétaire et financier. “
