Article D210-1 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

A feature-length film is one that is shown in cinemas for more than one hour.
A 70mm film with at least eight perforations per image is considered to be a feature-length film if it is shown for more than eight minutes.

L’œuvre cinématographique de longue durée est celle dont la durée de projection en salles de spectacles cinématographiques est supérieure à une heure.
L’œuvre cinématographique fixée sur support pellicule de format 70 mm comportant au moins huit perforations par image est assimilée, lorsqu’elle a une durée de projection supérieure à huit minutes, à une œuvre cinématographique de longue durée.
