Printed tickets are issued in “immediate entry” or “pre-sale” mode under the following conditions:
1° Immediate entry sales concern tickets issued in the period immediately preceding the film screening.
It is up to the operator of the cinema to define, for each screening, the moment at which the immediate-entry sale begins, which must occur between one and a half hours before the start of the screening.
Each ticket issued for immediate entry sales is entered, depending on the cinema and price category concerned, in a specific series called the “cinema series”, which lists all the admission rights issued in this cinema and this price category. In each series, the admission numbers are consecutive and increase from “1”, which is the starting number at the beginning of the series, in chronological order of ticket issue.
There is only one series of immediate-entry tickets on sale for a given venue and price category. This series shows the tickets issued for immediate sale for any film programme shown in this cinema at this price category;
2° Pre-sales concern all tickets issued before the immediate sale period.
The operator of a cinematographic establishment may proceed with pre-sales within a period of seven days prior to the screening on condition that they use special series of tickets known as “single series rental tickets”, reserved exclusively for this purpose. There are as many separate series of tickets, for each category of seat and each price, as there are screenings for which rental is available.
Each single series of rental tickets indicates all the days and screenings in the cinema week.
When the ticket is issued, the person in charge of rental will tick the day and screening for which the ticket is valid.
Single series tickets give direct access to the cinema, in the same way as tickets issued for immediate entry.
