Article D212-81 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The computerised systems shall record all information relating to ticket receipts for the cinemas in which they are installed.
Where a cinema operator is forced to use printed tickets in the event of a breakdown preventing the use of its computerised system, it shall reinstate as soon as possible in the computerised system all operations relating to the issue of admission rights carried out manually during the breakdown. In the meantime, it must comply with the provisions of this section specific to printed tickets.

Les systèmes informatisés enregistrent l’intégralité de l’information portant sur les recettes de billetterie des établissements de spectacles cinématographiques dans lesquels ils sont installés.
Lorsqu’un exploitant d’établissement de spectacles cinématographiques est contraint d’avoir recours à des billets imprimerie en cas de panne empêchant l’utilisation de son système informatisé, il est tenu de réintégrer dès que possible dans le système informatisé toutes les opérations ayant trait à la délivrance de droits d’entrée réalisées manuellement durant la panne. Entre-temps, il se conforme aux dispositions de la présente section particulières aux billets imprimerie.
