The application for authorisation is sent to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency for the region in which the vaccination centre is to be located, together with a dossier, the content of which is defined by order of the Minister for Health.
This application must specify the operating procedures for the vaccination centre, in particular those which ensure that vaccinations are free of charge, and guarantee :
1° The maintenance or creation of a team of professionals whose composition and numbers are suited to local needs and the centre’s activity;
2° The availability of premises suited to the centre’s activity, as well as the equipment and materials required for vaccinations;
3° The presence of a doctor on the premises during opening hours;
4° An individual information and advice interview;
5° Availability of the equipment and medicines needed to treat any serious adverse reactions;
6° The declaration to the regional pharmacovigilance centre, under the conditions laid down in section 13 of Chapter I of Title II of Book I of Part Five of this Code, of adverse reactions likely to be due to vaccines;
7° Information campaigns as part of the vaccination policy.
