Accreditation is granted for a period of three years by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency within six months of receipt of the application, on the basis of the documents in the file accompanying the application and, where applicable, the findings of an on-site visit by an official referred to inArticle L. 1421-1 of the Public Health Code, and taking into account all of the following factors :
1° The epidemiological situation with regard to human immunodeficiency viruses, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections, as well as the health needs of the population, particularly those most affected, assessed at regional level;
2° Whether the application for authorisation meets the needs identified at regional level, taking into account other existing services;
3° Whether the centre’s projected expenditure complies with the provisions of article D. 174-18 of the Social Security Code.
