Article D3123-22-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Before 1 February of the year following the year in which the financial assistance was granted, the president of the general council shall provide the elected representative receiving the assistance with a certificate stating the total amount of assistance received and specifying that it is non-taxable.

The annual declaration provided for in the article 87 of the Code général des impôts (General Tax Code) drawn up by the département states, for each beneficiary, the amount of aid granted by the conseil général.

Le président du conseil général communique à l’élu bénéficiaire de l’aide financière, avant le 1er février de l’année suivant celle de son attribution, une attestation mentionnant le montant total de l’aide perçue et précisant son caractère non imposable.

La déclaration annuelle prévue par l’article 87 du code général des impôts souscrite par le département mentionne, pour chaque bénéficiaire, le montant de l’aide accordée par le conseil général.
