Article D4163-25 of the French Labour Code

The employee asks his employer to benefit from the reduction in his working time under the conditions provided for in the last four paragraphs of article L. 3123-17, in the third paragraph of article L. 3123-26 and in article L. 4163-10 and according to the procedures provided for in article D. 3123-3. In support of his request, he must enclose the supporting document mentioned in article R. 4163-14.

The employee must specify his request for a reduction in working time, without the time worked being less than 20% or more than 80% of the working time applicable in the establishment.

Article D4163-25

Le salarié demande à son employeur de bénéficier de la réduction de son temps de travail dans les conditions prévues aux quatre derniers alinéas de l’article L. 3123-17, au troisième alinéa de l’article L. 3123-26 et à l’article L. 4163-10 et selon les modalités prévues à l’article D. 3123-3. Il joint à l’appui de sa demande le justificatif mentionné à l’article R. 4163-14.

Le salarié doit préciser sa demande de réduction du temps de travail sans que le temps travaillé ne puisse être inférieur à 20 % ni supérieur à 80 % de la durée du travail applicable dans l’établissement.
