Article D421-4 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The decision to appoint a trustee shall specify the foreseeable duration of the assignment and the terms on which the market undertaking will remunerate the trustee, taking into account the nature and volume of the activity and the situation of the market undertaking concerned.

The trustee is appointed for a maximum period of one year, renewable if circumstances so warrant, by a decision of the AMF Board taken by a majority of its members.

La décision de nomination d’un mandataire précise la durée prévisible de la mission confiée ainsi que les conditions de sa rémunération par l’entreprise de marché, qui tiennent compte notamment de la nature et du volume de l’activité ainsi que de la situation de l’entreprise de marché concernée.

Le mandataire est nommé pour une mission d’une durée maximum d’un an renouvelable, si les circonstances le justifient, par décision du collège de l’Autorité des marchés financiers prise à la majorité des membres composant celui-ci.
