Article D43-1-1 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

At least once a year, on the occasion of one of the half-yearly statements provided for in article 221, the President of the Examining Magistrate’s Chamber or a member of the Chamber delegated by him will receive the Examining Magistrates within his jurisdiction to examine the content of these statements. This meeting may also take place on the occasion of a visit to the investigating judge’s chambers by the president or the delegated adviser.

Au moins une fois par an, à l’occasion de l’un des envois des états semestriels prévus par l’article 221, le président de la chambre de l’instruction ou un conseiller de la chambre par lui délégué reçoit les juges d’instruction de son ressort pour examiner le contenu de ces états. Cet entretien peut aussi avoir lieu à l’occasion d’une visite du cabinet du juge d’instruction par le président ou le conseiller délégué.
