Article D43-1 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

For the application of articles 187-3 and 194, the file of the investigation proceedings may be transmitted to the first president of the court of appeal, the public prosecutor, the investigating chamber or its president, by electronic means of communication to the electronic address of the relevant department of the court registry of the court of appeal, in particular where this file has been drawn up or converted into digital format pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 801-1 and Articles D. 589 to D. 589-7.

Pour l’application des articles 187-3 et 194, le dossier de la procédure d’instruction peut être transmis au premier président de la cour d’appel, au procureur général, à la chambre de l’instruction ou à son président, par un moyen de communication électronique à l’adresse électronique du service compétent du greffe de la cour d’appel, notamment lorsque ce dossier a été établi ou converti sous format numérique en application du premier alinéa de l’article 801-1 et des articles D. 589 à D. 589-7.
