Article D4311-26 of the French Public Health Code

Nurses who hold the State diploma in psychiatric nursing and who are applying for the State diploma in nursing shall send the chairman of the committee, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, a file containing the following information:

1° Copy of the psychiatric nursing diploma ;

2° Curriculum vitae, enclosing a list of the departments in which the candidate has worked and the nature of the duties performed; this list must be certified as accurate by the head(s) of the establishments in which the candidate has worked;

3° A list of the continuing education courses taken by the candidate, with a certificate for each course from the person responsible for the course or the head of the establishment in which the candidate was employed at the time the course was taken;

4° Copies of any diplomas other than the diploma in psychiatric nursing obtained by the candidate.

If it deems it appropriate, the committee may ask the candidate for any additional information that may shed light on the content of the training followed.

Les infirmiers et infirmières, titulaires du diplôme d’Etat d’infirmier de secteur psychiatrique, candidats à l’obtention du diplôme d’Etat d’infirmier ou d’infirmière adressent au président de la commission, par lettre recommandée avec accusé de réception, un dossier comportant les éléments suivants :

1° Copie du diplôme d’infirmier de secteur psychiatrique ;

2° Curriculum vitae comportant en annexe la liste des services dans lesquels le candidat a exercé son activité, ainsi que la nature des fonctions exercées ; cette liste est certifiée exacte par le ou les chefs des établissements dans lesquels le candidat a exercé ses fonctions ;

3° Liste des actions de formation continue suivies par le candidat avec, pour chacune d’entre elles, une attestation du responsable de celle-ci ou du chef de l’établissement dans lequel l’intéressé exerçait ses fonctions au moment où elle a été suivie ;

4° Eventuellement, copie des diplômes autres que le diplôme d’infirmier de secteur psychiatrique, obtenus par le candidat.

La commission peut, si elle le juge opportun, solliciter du candidat toutes informations complémentaires de nature à l’éclairer sur le contenu des formations suivies.
