Article D5217-5 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For budgets voted by nature, the budget article corresponds to the most detailed subdivision of the nomenclature defined by the decree provided for in Article L. 5217-10-5, supplemented, for programmes, by the programme number and, for operations on behalf of third parties, by the operation number.

The chapters entitled “Unforeseen expenditure”, “Transfer from the operating section”, “Transfer to the investment section” and “Proceeds from disposals of fixed assets” do not include any articles.

Pour les budgets votés par nature, l’article budgétaire correspond à la subdivision la plus détaillée de la nomenclature définie par l’arrêté prévu à l’article L. 5217-10-5, complété, pour les programmes, du numéro de programme et, pour les opérations pour le compte de tiers, du numéro d’opération.

Les chapitres intitulés ” Dépenses imprévues “, ” Virement de la section de fonctionnement “, ” Virement à la section d’investissement ” et ” Produits des cessions d’immobilisations ” ne comportent pas d’article.
