I.-The grouping’s unified medical commission comprises :
1° Elected representatives of the heads of the clinical and medico-technical activity divisions of the establishments belonging to the group ;
2° Elected representatives of the heads of internal structures, departments and functional units;
3° Elected representatives of permanent practitioners from establishments belonging to the consortium;
4° Elected representatives of temporary or non-tenured staff and contract or freelance staff from the establishments belonging to the group;
5° Elected representatives of midwives, where one or more establishments belonging to the group have a gynaecology-obstetrics activity;
6° The doctor responsible for the regional medical information department;
7° Representatives of interns, including at least one representative for general medical interns, one representative for medical interns in other specialities, one representative for pharmacy interns and one representative for odontology interns;
8° A representative of hospital students in the second cycle of maieutics studies, when the maieutics training structure is attached to a hospital centre that is a member of the group;
9° Elected representatives of permanent teaching and hospital staff, when a hospital and university centre is a member of the consortium.
II – The following also attend in an advisory capacity:
1° The chairman of the strategic committee and the directors of the other participating institutions or their representatives;
2° The chairman of the grouping’s nursing, re-education and medico-technical care commission;
3° One or more representatives of the practitioners responsible for the operational hygiene team;
4° One or more representatives of the technical committees of the participating establishments, elected from among their members;
5° A representative of hospital pharmacists appointed by the chairman of the strategic committee;
6° The directors of the medical training and research units or the chairman of the medical education coordination committee and, where appropriate, the director of the pharmacy training and research unit and the director of the odontology training and research unit, if a university hospital centre is a member of the consortium;
7° A representative of the healthcare risk management coordinators mentioned in article R. 6111-4, appointed by the director of the support establishment;
8° A medical professional representing, where applicable, the regional psychiatric communities, appointed by them.
III – The grouping’s unified medical commission may appoint, in consultation with the president of the strategic committee, a maximum of five guests representing external partners cooperating with the grouping or with the participating establishments in the implementation of public health initiatives in the area. These guests may be permanent. They may attend meetings of the Group Medical Commission in an advisory capacity.
IV – The term of office for elected members is four years. The term of office is renewable.
