Article D6136-2 of the French Public Health Code

The members of the territorial psychiatric community are the public hospital service establishments authorised in psychiatry and the armed forces hospitals which are signatories to the same territorial mental health contract and which volunteer to form it.

The other signatories of the territorial mental health contract, in particular representatives of patients and families, healthcare professionals and establishments, social and medico-social establishments and services, may be associated with the territorial psychiatric community for the implementation of the actions of the territorial mental health project in which they participate.

The territorial psychiatric community may cooperate with establishments and structures that do not belong geographically to the mental health territory but are identified by the territorial mental health project for their role as referral centres, in accordance with the procedures defined by the agreement establishing the psychiatric community.

Article D6136-2

Sont membres de la communauté psychiatrique de territoire les établissements du service public hospitalier autorisés en psychiatrie et les hôpitaux des armées signataires d’un même contrat territorial de santé mentale et volontaires pour la constituer.

Les autres signataires du contrat territorial de santé mentale, notamment les représentants des patients et des familles, les professionnels et les établissements de santé, les établissements et les services sociaux et médico-sociaux, peuvent être associés à la communauté psychiatrique de territoire pour la déclinaison des actions du projet territorial de santé mentale auxquelles ils participent.

La communauté psychiatrique de territoire peut coopérer avec des établissements et structures n’appartenant pas géographiquement au territoire de santé mentale mais identifiés par le projet territorial de santé mentale pour leur rôle de recours, selon les modalités définies par la convention constitutive de la communauté psychiatrique.
