Article D615-3 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Government Commissioners appointed to a body pursuant to the provisions of Article L. 615-1 shall ensure that the body, either directly or through its subsidiaries or the establishments over which it has control, carries out its public interest activities in accordance with the texts governing it. They report to the Minister responsible for the economy on the public interest missions entrusted to the body to which they are appointed and send him an annual report on the activity of the establishment.

Les commissaires du Gouvernement nommés auprès d’un organisme en application des dispositions de l’article L. 615-1 s’assurent que celui-ci, soit directement, soit par l’intermédiaire de ses filiales ou des établissements dont il détient le contrôle, exerce son activité d’intérêt public conformément aux textes qui le régissent. Ils rendent compte au ministre chargé de l’économie des missions d’intérêt public confiées à l’organisme auprès duquel ils sont nommés et lui adressent un rapport annuel sur l’activité de l’établissement.
