Article D6221-31 of the French Public Health Code

The declaration provided for in the second paragraph of Article L. 6211-2-1, as it stood prior to the entry into force of amended Order No. 2010-49 of 13 January 2010 relating to medical biology, shall be sent by the laboratory to the Minister for Health by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

It shall be accompanied by a copy of the accreditation, authorisation or approval issued by the competent authorities of the State in which the laboratory is located.

If the declaration and attachments are not in French, they must be accompanied by a certified translation.

A receipt is issued to the applicant by the Minister for Health on receipt of the declaration.

Article D6221-31

La déclaration prévue au deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 6211-2-1, dans sa rédaction antérieure à l’entrée en vigueur de l’ordonnance n° 2010-49 du 13 janvier 2010 modifiée relative à la biologie médicale, est adressée par le laboratoire au ministre chargé de la santé, par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception.

Elle est accompagnée de la copie de l’accréditation, de l’autorisation ou de l’agrément délivré par les autorités compétentes de l’Etat d’implantation du laboratoire.

Si la déclaration et les pièces jointes ne sont pas rédigées en français, elles sont accompagnées d’une traduction certifiée.

Un récépissé est délivré au demandeur par le ministre chargé de la santé à réception de la déclaration.
