The Director of the Agency, appointed by order of the Ministers for Overseas France and Health, is a civil servant or hospital practitioner governed by Section 1 of Chapter II of Title V of Book I of this Part, seconded to the Agency for this purpose.
The Director is provided with official accommodation, on the basis of absolute necessity, and is responsible for paying the water and electricity costs of this accommodation. Furniture is provided in accordance with the regulations applicable to the furnishing of judges and civil servants serving in the overseas territories.
The regulations in force for civil servants assigned to Wallis and Futuna apply to the Director of the Health Agency in terms of accommodation, holidays, travel and expatriation allowance.
The contract setting out the remuneration and administrative status of the Director of the Health Agency is approved by the Ministers for Overseas Territories and Health.
