Article D712-14-2 of the French Commercial code

Special circumstances within the meaning of 7° of Article L. 711-8 :

1° The chamber’s intervention in support of economic activity in its district in the event of economic change seriously affecting that activity;

2° A task entrusted to one or more chambers in the district, due to local particularities or on an experimental basis by the prefect, for which those chambers cannot provide all the funding themselves;

3° Measures to restructure a chamber made necessary by the disappearance of one of its activities or resources;

4° The situation in which a territorial chamber of commerce and industry cannot meet the payment of the compulsory expenditure for which it is responsible.

Sont considérées comme des circonstances particulières au sens du 7° de l’article L. 711-8 :

1° L’intervention de la chambre au soutien de l’activité économique de sa circonscription en cas de mutation économique affectant gravement cette activité ;

2° Une tâche confiée à une ou plusieurs chambres de la circonscription, en raison de particularités locales ou à titre expérimental par le préfet, dont ces chambres ne peuvent assurer par elles-mêmes la totalité du financement ;

3° Les mesures de restructuration d’une chambre rendues nécessaires par la disparition d’une de ses activités ou de ses ressources ;

4° la situation dans laquelle une chambre de commerce et d’industrie territoriale ne peut faire face au paiement des dépenses obligatoires qui lui incombent.
