Article L1133-4-1 of the French Public Health Code

Any person who requests the examination of his or her genetic characteristics or those of a third party, or the identification of a person by his or her genetic fingerprints, outside the conditions laid down by law, shall be liable to the penalty provided for in Article 226-28-1 of the Criminal Code.

Le fait, pour une personne, de solliciter l’examen de ses caractéristiques génétiques ou de celles d’un tiers ou l’identification d’une personne par ses empreintes génétiques en dehors des conditions prévues par la loi est puni de la peine prévue à l’ article 226-28-1 du code pénal .
