Article L1233-57-15 of the French Labour Code

The Social and Economic Committee is informed of formal takeover offers no later than eight days after receipt. The information communicated to it in this respect is deemed to be confidential under the conditions set out in article L. 2325-5. It may issue an opinion within the timeframes provided for in Article L. 1233-30, participate in the search for a buyer and make proposals.

Le comité social et économique est informé des offres de reprise formalisées, au plus tard huit jours après leur réception. Les informations qui lui sont communiquées à ce titre sont réputées confidentielles dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 2325-5. Il peut émettre un avis, dans les délais prévus à l’article L. 1233-30, participer à la recherche d’un repreneur et formuler des propositions.
