Article L1233-86 of the French Labour Code

The amount of the contribution paid by the company may not be less than twice the monthly value of the minimum growth wage per job eliminated. However, the administrative authority may set a lower amount if the company is unable to meet the financial burden of this contribution.

In the absence of a signed agreement or collective agreement in lieu thereof, companies shall pay to the Treasury a contribution equal to twice the amount provided for in the first paragraph.

Le montant de la contribution versée par l’entreprise ne peut être inférieur à deux fois la valeur mensuelle du salaire minimum de croissance par emploi supprimé. Toutefois, l’autorité administrative peut fixer un montant inférieur lorsque l’entreprise est dans l’incapacité d’assurer la charge financière de cette contribution.

En l’absence de convention signée ou d’accord collectif en tenant lieu, les entreprises versent au Trésor public une contribution égale au double du montant prévu au premier alinéa.
