Article L1253-2 of the French Labour Code

Employers’ groups are set up in one of the following forms:

1° Association governed by the law of 1st July 1901 relating to the contract of association ;

2° A cooperative company within the meaning of Law no. 47-1775 of 10 September 1947 on the status of cooperatives and Law no. 83-657 of 20 July 1983 on the development of certain social economy activities;

3° Association governed by the local civil code or craft cooperative in the Moselle, Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin departments.

Les groupements d’employeurs sont constitués sous l’une des formes suivantes :

1° Association régie par la loi du 1er juillet 1901 relative au contrat d’association ;

2° Société coopérative au sens de la loi n° 47-1775 du 10 septembre 1947 portant statut de la coopération et de la loi n° 83-657 du 20 juillet 1983 relative au développement de certaines activités d’économie sociale ;

3° Association régie par le code civil local ou coopérative artisanale dans les départements de la Moselle, du Bas-Rhin et du Haut-Rhin.
