Article L1424-22 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

If the agreements provided for in articles L1424-13, L1424-14 and L1424-17, six months before the deadline set in these same articles, a national commission settles, on referral from the prefect, within six months, the situation of personnel and property transferred to the fire and rescue service, after consultation, for personnel, with the competent joint bodies.

The mayor of the commune or the president of the public establishment for inter-communal cooperation or the president of the departmental council and the president of the board of directors of the fire and rescue service concerned are notified of the commission’s decision within one month.

A défaut de signature des conventions prévues aux articles L1424-13, L1424-14 et L1424-17, six mois avant le délai fixé à ces mêmes articles, une commission nationale règle, sur saisine du préfet, dans un délai de six mois, la situation des personnels et des biens transférés au service d’incendie et de secours, après consultation, pour les personnels, des instances paritaires compétentes.

Sa décision est notifiée au maire de la commune ou au président de l’établissement public de coopération intercommunale ou au président du conseil départemental et au président du conseil d’administration du service d’incendie et de secours concernés dans un délai d’un mois.
