Article L161-2 of the French Code of civil enforcement procedures

In the event of enforcement proceedings against a debtor who is an individual entrepreneur with limited liability, such proceedings may only relate to the asset or assets over which the creditor has a general lien as defined by the provisions of article L. 526-12 of the French Commercial Code.

En cas de procédure d’exécution à l’encontre d’un débiteur entrepreneur individuel à responsabilité limitée, celle-ci ne peut porter que sur le ou les biens sur lesquels le créancier a un droit de gage général tel que défini par les dispositions de l’article L. 526-12 du code de commerce.
