Article L1618-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The provisions of this chapter apply to local authorities and their public establishments, subject to the specific provisions applicable to public health establishments, public social and medico-social establishments mentioned in article L. 312-1 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles and the régies mentioned in article L. 2221-1. They do not apply to public low-cost housing establishments.

Les dispositions du présent chapitre s’appliquent aux collectivités territoriales et à leurs établissements publics, sous réserve des dispositions spécifiques applicables aux établissements publics de santé, aux établissements publics sociaux et médico-sociaux mentionnés à l’article L. 312-1 du code de l’action sociale et des familles et aux régies mentionnées à l’article L. 2221-1. Elles ne s’appliquent pas aux établissements publics d’habitations à loyer modéré.
