Article L1811-2 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

In the municipalities and public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation in French Polynesia that have concluded a city contract defined in article 6 of law no. 2014-173 of 21 February 2014 on town planning and urban cohesion, the mayor and the president of the public establishment for inter-communal cooperation submit a report to their respective deliberative assemblies on the situation of the local authority with regard to town policy, the actions it is carrying out on its territory and the guidelines and programmes likely to improve this situation. This report is debated by the municipal and community councils. Its content and the procedures for its preparation are laid down by decree.

The elements of this report are subject to prior consultation with the citizens’ council or councils present in the area. The municipal council and the community council are informed of the outcome of this consultation when the report is presented.

Article L1811-2

Dans les communes et établissements publics de coopération intercommunale de la Polynésie française ayant conclu un contrat de ville défini à l’article 6 de la loi n° 2014-173 du 21 février 2014 de programmation pour la ville et la cohésion urbaine, le maire et le président de l’établissement public de coopération intercommunale présentent à leur assemblée délibérante respective un rapport sur la situation de la collectivité au regard de la politique de la ville, les actions qu’elle mène sur son territoire et les orientations et programmes de nature à améliorer cette situation. Ce rapport est débattu au sein du conseil municipal et du conseil communautaire. Son contenu et les modalités de son élaboration sont fixés par décret.

Les éléments de ce rapport font l’objet d’une consultation préalable du ou des conseils citoyens présents sur le territoire. Le conseil municipal et le conseil communautaire sont informés du résultat de cette consultation lors de la présentation du rapport.
