In the municipalities and public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation in French Polynesia that have concluded a city contract defined in article 6 of law no. 2014-173 of 21 February 2014 on town planning and urban cohesion, the mayor and the president of the public establishment for inter-communal cooperation submit a report to their respective deliberative assemblies on the situation of the local authority with regard to town policy, the actions it is carrying out on its territory and the guidelines and programmes likely to improve this situation. This report is debated by the municipal and community councils. Its content and the procedures for its preparation are laid down by decree.
The elements of this report are subject to prior consultation with the citizens’ council or councils present in the area. The municipal council and the community council are informed of the outcome of this consultation when the report is presented.
