Article L1821-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I.-The articles L. 1112-15 and L. 1112-17 and articles L. 1112-19 to L. 1112-22 are applicable to the communes of French Polynesia. Article L. 1112-16 is applicable to the municipalities of French Polynesia in the version resulting from Law no. 2022-217 of 21 February 2022 relating to differentiation, decentralisation, deconcentration and various measures to simplify local public action.

II.-For the application of article L. 1112-16, the words: “and, in other local authorities, one twentieth of the electors,” are deleted.

L’article L. 1112-16 est applicable aux communes de la Polynésie française dans sa rédaction résultant de la loi n° 2022-217 du 21 février 2022 relative à la différenciation, la décentralisation, la déconcentration et portant diverses mesures de simplification de l’action publique locale.

II.-Pour l’application de l’article L. 1112-16, les mots : ” et, dans les autres collectivités territoriales, un vingtième des électeurs, ” sont supprimés.
