Article L214-22-4 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The feeder UCITS shall monitor the activity of the master UCITS. In order to fulfil this obligation, it may rely on information and documents received from the master UCITS or, where applicable, from the management company, the depositary and the auditor of the master UCITS, unless it has reason to doubt the accuracy of such information and documents.

The General Regulation of the Autorité des marchés financiers shall specify the conditions of application of this article.

L’OPCVM nourricier contrôle l’activité de l’OPCVM maître. Afin de satisfaire à cette obligation, il peut se fonder sur les informations et les documents reçus de l’OPCVM maître ou, le cas échéant, de la société de gestion, du dépositaire et du commissaire aux comptes de cet organisme maître, sauf s’il a des raisons de douter de l’exactitude de ces informations et documents.

Le règlement général de l’Autorité des marchés financiers précise les conditions d’application du présent article.
