Article L2141-12 of the French Public procurement code

Where, during the course of the procedure for the award of a contract, an economic operator is placed in one of the cases of exclusion mentioned in sections 1 and 2, it shall inform the purchaser of this change in situation without delay.
In this event, the purchaser shall exclude the candidate from the contract award procedure on this ground.

Lorsqu’un opérateur économique est, au cours de la procédure de passation d’un marché, placé dans l’un des cas d’exclusion mentionnés aux sections 1 et 2, il informe sans délai l’acheteur de ce changement de situation.
Dans cette hypothèse, l’acheteur exclut le candidat de la procédure de passation du marché pour ce motif.
