Article L2143-10 of the French Labour Code

In the event of a change in the legal status of the employer as referred to in article L. 1224-1, the mandate of the trade union delegate or central trade union delegate continues when the undertaking which is the subject of the change retains its legal autonomy.

The same applies when the modification concerns an establishment within the meaning of article L. 2143-3.

En cas de modification dans la situation juridique de l’employeur telle que mentionnée à l’article L. 1224-1, le mandat du délégué syndical ou du délégué syndical central subsiste lorsque l’entreprise qui fait l’objet de la modification conserve son autonomie juridique.

Il en est de même lorsque la modification porte sur un établissement au sens de l’article L. 2143-3.
