Subject to the provisions of this chapter to the contrary, the French sub-account, within the meaning of Article 2 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1238 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on a pan-European individual retirement savings product (PEPP), of the pan-European individual retirement savings product mentioned in the same regulation is governed by the provisions applicable to the individual retirement savings plan mentioned in Article L. 224-28 of this code, with the exception of articles L. 224-3, L. 224-6, L. 224-7 and L. 224-8, the second paragraph of article L. 224-28 and articles L. 224-29, L. 224-30, L. 224-31, L. 224-32, L. 224-34 and L. 224-40.
Where the sub-account gives rise to a group insurance contract, this contract sets out the terms and conditions for financing the subscribing association. The association may only receive an initial membership fee and, where applicable, regular contributions from members, which may take the form of fees deducted from the sub-account.
Where the sub-account is opened in the form of a securities account, it may give rise to the opening of a cash account associated with the securities account.
