The regional cross-industry joint committee is made up of twenty members, employees and employers of companies with fewer than eleven employees, appointed by the employees’ trade union organisations and by the employers’ professional organisations under the following conditions:
1° Ten seats are allocated to employees’ trade union organisations whose statutory vocation is cross-industry in nature, in proportion to their audience in the region among the employees that the commission represents in the elections provided for in articles L. 2122-10-1 and L. 2122-6 ;
2° Ten seats are allocated to professional employers’ organisations with a statutory vocation of a cross-industry nature, distributed in proportion to their audience as defined in 6° of I of article L. 2151-1 among companies with less than eleven employees located in the region and belonging to the branches covered by the commission.
The employees’ trade union organisations and the employers’ professional organisations fill the seats allocated to them with equal numbers of men and women.
If there is an odd number of seats to be filled, the difference between the number of women and the number of men may not exceed one.
