European Union citizens wishing to establish habitual residence in France must register with the mayor of their commune of residence within three months of their arrival. Those who have not complied with this registration requirement are deemed to have been resident in France for less than three months.

Ceux qui n’ont pas respecté cette obligation d’enregistrement sont réputés résider en France depuis moins de trois mois.
