Article L2314-19 of the French Labour Code

Voters must be at least eighteen years of age and have been working in the company for at least one year, with the exception of the employer’s spouse, partner in a civil solidarity pact, cohabitee, ascendants, descendants, brothers, sisters and relatives to the same degree, as well as employees who have a specific written delegation of authority enabling them to be assimilated to the head of the company or who effectively represent the head of the company before the social and economic committee.

Employees working part-time simultaneously in several companies are only eligible for election in one of these companies. They choose the company in which they wish to stand for election.

Sont éligibles les électeurs âgés de dix-huit ans révolus, et travaillant dans l’entreprise depuis un an au moins, à l’exception des conjoint, partenaire d’un pacte civil de solidarité, concubin, ascendants, descendants, frères, sœurs et alliés au même degré de l’employeur ainsi que des salariés qui disposent d’une délégation écrite particulière d’autorité leur permettant d’être assimilés au chef d’entreprise ou qui le représentent effectivement devant le comité social et économique.


Les salariés travaillant à temps partiel simultanément dans plusieurs entreprises ne sont éligibles que dans l’une de ces entreprises. Ils choisissent celle dans laquelle ils font acte de candidature.
