European Union citizens have the right to reside in France for more than three months if they meet one of the following conditions:
1° They are gainfully employed in France;
2° They have sufficient resources for themselves and their family members not to become a burden on the social assistance system, as well as sickness insurance ;
3° They are enrolled in an establishment operating in accordance with the legislative and regulatory provisions in force in order to follow a course of study or, within this framework, vocational training, and guarantee that they have sickness insurance and sufficient resources for themselves and their spouses or dependent direct descendants who accompany or join them, so as not to become a burden on the social assistance system ;
4° They are family members accompanying or joining a citizen of the European Union who satisfies the conditions set out in 1° or 2°;
5° They are the spouse or dependent direct descendant accompanying or joining a citizen of the European Union who satisfies the conditions set out in 3°.
