Article L2344-6 of the French Labour Code

For a Community-scale undertaking or group of undertakings required to set up a European Works Council or an information and consultation procedure in one of the States other than France mentioned in Article L. 2341-1, the provisions of Article L. 2344-5 apply, where there is no trade union organisation, to the establishment or undertaking in France with at least fifty employees.

Pour l’entreprise ou le groupe d’entreprise de dimension communautaire devant mettre en place un comité d’entreprise européen ou une procédure d’information et de consultation dans un des Etats autres que la France mentionnés à l’article L. 2341-1, les dispositions de l’article L. 2344-5 s’appliquent, lorsqu’il n’existe pas d’organisation syndicale, à l’établissement ou à l’entreprise implanté en France comprenant au moins cinquante salariés.
