Article L2421-2 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For the purpose of conducting a census of parcels of land mentioned in article L. 2421-1, the mayor of the commune shall draw up, for each of these parcels, a statement :

1° Indicating its cadastral designation, its exact surface area, the surname, first names and domicile of the current holder of the right of enjoyment and the date on which this right was acquired;

2° Specifying whether this right was acquired purely for life or whether it is transmissible by inheritance or by transfer;

3° Mentioning any real rights and tenancies created or granted by the interested parties or their authors.

A l’effet de procéder au recensement de parcelles des terrains mentionnés à l’article L. 2421-1, le maire de la commune établit, pour chacune de ces parcelles, un état :

1° Indiquant sa désignation cadastrale, sa superficie exacte, les nom, prénoms et domicile du titulaire actuel du droit de jouissance et la date à laquelle ce droit a été acquis ;

2° Précisant si ce droit a été acquis à titre purement viager ou s’il est transmissible par voie héréditaire ou par voie de cession ;

3° Mentionnant les droits réels et les locations éventuellement créés ou consentis par les intéressés ou par leurs auteurs.
