Article L243-11-1 of the French Labour Code

Breaking the employment contract of an employee who is a member of the regional cross-industry joint committee referred to in Article L. 23-111-1, of an employee appearing on the electoral propaganda of the trade union organisations with a view to setting up this committee or of a former member of the committee in disregard of the provisions relating to the administrative authorisation procedure provided for in this book shall be punishable by the penalty provided for in Article L. 2432-1.

Article L243-11-1

Le fait de rompre le contrat de travail d’un salarié membre de la commission paritaire régionale interprofessionnelle mentionnée à l’article L. 23-111-1, d’un salarié figurant sur la propagande électorale des organisations syndicales en vue de la constitution de cette commission ou d’un ancien membre de la commission en méconnaissance des dispositions relatives à la procédure d’autorisation administrative prévue au présent livre est puni de la peine prévue à l’article L. 2432-1.
