Article L2513-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The pay and various allowances received by officers, petty officers, quartermasters and sailors belonging to the marine fire brigade and the services attached to it are determined by the regulations applicable to the various corps of the military navy.

They may be allocated a risk supplement, the amount and conditions of which are determined by order of the mayor within the limits set by decree.

Les soldes et allocations diverses perçues par les officiers, les officiers-mariniers, quartiers-maîtres et marins appartenant au bataillon des marins-pompiers et aux services qui lui sont adjoints sont déterminées par les règlements applicables aux divers corps de la marine militaire.

Il peut leur être alloué un supplément pour risques dont le montant et les conditions d’attribution sont déterminés par arrêté du maire dans les limites fixées par décret.
