Article L2573-35 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I. – The articles L. 2251-2 to L. 2251-3-1 are applicable to the communes of French Polynesia from 1st January 2012 subject to the adaptations provided for in II and III.

II. – For the application of Article L. 2251-2, the words: “Title I of Book V of Part One” are replaced by the words: “the articles L. 1861-1 à L. 1861-2”.

III. – For the application of Article L. 2251-3-1, after the word: “representative” are inserted the words: “in French Polynesia” and the words: “decree by the Council of State” are replaced by the words: “order by the High Commissioner of the Republic”.
