Article L2573-36 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I. – Article L. 2252-1, with the exception of its fifth paragraph, article L. 2252-2, with the exception of 3°, and articles L. 2252-4 and L. 2252-5 are applicable to the communes of French Polynesia from the renewal of the municipal councils in 2008 and subject to the adaptations provided for in II and III.

II. – For the application of the fourth paragraph of Article L. 2252-1, the words: “collectivités territoriales” are replaced by the word: “communes”.

III. – For the application of Article L. 2252-2:

1° In 1°, the words: “low-cost housing organisations” are replaced by the words: “social housing organisations, the list of which is drawn up by the High Commissioner of the Republic”;

2° In 2°, the phrase after the words: “housing” is replaced by the words: “benefiting from assistance from the State or French Polynesia”.

I. – L’article L. 2252-1, à l’exception de son cinquième alinéa, l’article L. 2252-2, à l’exception du 3°, et les articles L. 2252-4 et L. 2252-5 sont applicables aux communes de la Polynésie française à compter du renouvellement des conseils municipaux en 2008 et sous réserve des adaptations prévues aux II et III.

II. – Pour l’application du quatrième alinéa de l’article L. 2252-1, les mots : ” collectivités territoriales ” sont remplacés par le mot : ” communes “.

III. – Pour l’application de l’article L. 2252-2 :

1° Au 1°, les mots : ” les organismes d’habitations à loyer modéré ” sont remplacés par les mots : ” des organismes de logement social, dont la liste est arrêtée par le haut-commissaire de la République ” ;

2° Au 2°, le membre de phrase après les mots : ” de logements ” est remplacé par les mots : ” bénéficiant de concours de l’Etat ou de la Polynésie française “.
